My hopes for 2012

Well here we are, the year when London hosts the 2012 Olympic games. It was quite an entertaining 2011. In January 2011 we saw Fernando Torres sign for Chelsea for a Whopping £50 million pounds, we also saw Andy Carroll go to Liverpool for £35 million pounds. Luis Suarez goes to Liverpool. It was an interesting January full of managers looking for a steal to strengthen there squad.

Manchester City were always going to be the money bags of the English Premier League. With Mancini at the helm the gaffer would want strength in depth and what better way to start the ball rolling with capturing Edin Dzeko, Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and David Silva. Attacking wise, The Blues have a lot more strength in depth then the Red Devils who have Giggs ageing...he might be losing a yard of pace but he must be such an influential player for the youngsters at the club. Title direction wise it is hotting up. On the last weekend of 2011 Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City all lost where as Liverpool, Arsenal, Blackburn, Sunderland, Everton all won. For the neutral it will be very interesting who lifts the English Premiership Cup up come May.

My hopes for 2012 are...Oxford to reach the League 2 play-offs and to be in League 1. To pass my CBT. To take one day at a time.

I would like to take this opportunity to say to the BBC not to stop showing the Football League Show on a Saturday night, for all the Football league teams and supporters it is a joke not to show fans there clubs goals. It is disgusting that Football league fans have to watch the Premiership. It is alright for the top 4 club fans being able to see there team on the television for Oxford United fans it has taken 4 seasons and yet the BBC are reducing there costs by cutting probably the second most popular rated football show. BRING THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE SHOW BACK!!!
